San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance was not only focused on the conservation of wild animals, but endangered plants as well. The horticulture team flexed their green thumb throughout the 1990s with the opening of several new gardens, including Nativescapes, Baja, Old World Succulent, and Water-Wise gardens.
