MONROE ON THE GO
When Kokamo, the newest gorilla at the Safari Park, was determined to be pregnant, there was excitement among the Park’s primate care specialists. There hadn’t been a gorilla birth at the Park for 11 years, and everyone was looking forward to a new little face in the gorilla habitat. When Monroe arrived on June 17, 2011, it was a happy day.
