Safari Park 50th Milestone 16

MILESTONE 16

SAY HELLO TO OUR FUZZY FRIEND

When the first California condor egg started to hatch at the Zoo’s Avian Propagation Center on March 30, 1983, the excitement was palpable. When Sisquoc emerged healthy and strong, everyone at San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance was thrilled. The California Condor Recovery Program had its first chick, who was soon relocated to the Safari Park to be raised by the team of care specialists there.
