HOME BASE: CONSERVATION
In 2004, the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Center for Conservation Research opened, serving as the hub for San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance programs focused on the science of saving species. It included laboratories, the Frozen Zoo Wildlife Biodiversity Banking facilities, classrooms, offices, a library, and a large meeting center for lectures, presentations, and symposiums.
