PETITE PACHYDERMS
Not one, but two elephant calves were born to the herd in 2018. The first, Umzula-zuli, or Zuli for short, was born to Ndula on August 12—World Elephant Day. Six weeks later, on September 27, Umngani gave birth to her calf, a female. They’ve been running, splashing, tumbling, and tussling with each other ever since.
